What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include pixels, local storage, and scripts. They allow a website to work properly, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use it. Some cookies are set by us (first-party cookies), and some are set by the third-party services we use (third-party cookies).

Types of Cookies We Use

  • Strictly necessary cookies. Required for the Site to function and to keep it secure, such as cookies that protect against bots and malicious traffic and that support form submissions. The Site cannot work properly without them.
  • Analytics and performance cookies. Help us understand how visitors find and use the Site, such as which pages are visited and how long visitors stay, so we can improve it. This information is collected in aggregate.
  • Functionality and embedded content cookies. Set by third-party services whose content appears on the Site, such as embedded videos, when you load or interact with that content.
